hibu Helps: Cradles to Crayons

With nearly 130,000 children in Philadelphia living in poverty, we wanted to do what we could to help. Earlier this month, a team of volunteers from hibu went down to the Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia Giving Factory warehouse to help review, organize and pack donated supplies – children’s clothes, books, diapers, arts & crafts, cribs, bedding and even batteries. Those donations go out to help disadvantaged children all around the Greater Philadelphia region.

As their website says, “Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth to age 12, living in low-income and homeless situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. We supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need.”

There’s always a need for volunteers… and, of course, donations. If you live in the Philly area, sign up today at http://ift.tt/1RH3vph — or check it out and see how you could make a donation. Anything we can do to help the kids.
